Exercise 2 - 1 & 2 Point Perspective
Assignment   
Draw three cubes (or more if you like) in 1 point perspective with a horizon line. Now draw three cubes in two point perspective. Balance the compositions by having your boxes spaced somewhat evenly vertically and horizontally. Show your construction lines.
Craft
Make your lines straight, sharp crisp and clean. Clean up any pencil marks, smudges, and fingerprints. Use an 8.5 by 11 inch sheet of drawing paper for each drawing. Protect them in a folder. You will need them for critique week in the spring.
Materials
Drawing paper and drawing pencils (4H to 4B)
Deliverables
Two 8.5 by 11 inch Drawings: 3 boxes in 1 point perspective and 3 boxes in 2 point perspective
Value - 50pts
Points are earned by accurate perspective, high level of detail, wide value range, high level of craft, and following instructions including meeting all of the specifications in the project brief (this page).
